Tonight’s the night for the Fired! screening in London. We’ve got 100 people coming to see it in all it’s glory. The last few days have been a bit mad trying to get it finished in time, coordinating 6 different people (editor, sound designer, animator, illustrator, composer and grader). After the last one, I resolved to always do things more in advance. But it’s almost like you need the ridiculously tight deadline to get every one to step it up a notch. I’m very happy on the whole. there’s still some work to be done, but I’m excited to show it to people. It’s really when 6 months work finally pays off. Hundreds of hours of work boils down to 25 minutes on screen. We have lots of kids coming to the screening and we’re giving bubbles out to everyone. I think it’s going to be a fun night!
My friends in Portland Jordan Domont and Will Bryant created the above poster for us in time for the screening. Jordan is a fantastic illustrator and you can see more of his work here. While Will is one of the most talented young graphic designers working in America. Don’t believe me? Look at his website. I’m very grateful for all their amazing work. Hopefully we’ll have more posters as Fired! goes to festivals. Lets Fly This Thing!
